Corrections process

The registry republishes data from state registers. When a profile shows something wrong, this is how to tell us, what we check, and where the correction has to be made.

Step 1

Report the error

Every company profile in Lithuanian has a „Pranešti klaidą“ (report an error) link, on the main profile and on each subpage. It opens a short form: describe the error (at least 10 characters) and, if you want an answer, leave an email address. The report is linked to the company and to the page it was sent from. To prevent abuse, one connection can send at most 3 reports in 5 minutes.

From an English profile, open the full Lithuanian profile (linked at the top and bottom of each English profile) and use the same link, or write to info@topimones.lt with the company code and what is wrong.

Step 2

Review

Each report enters the review queue and is reviewed within 24-48 hours; reports older than 48 hours are flagged to the team as overdue. A report is new, in review, resolved or dismissed. The reviewer compares the profile with the original register record and the date it was read.

Step 3

Where the correction is made

  • Our processing error (a wrong match, a stale copy, a display fault): we fix it in the registry and the profile changes when the fix is published.
  • A fact as the state register holds it (financial statements, managers, legal status, debts): the registry may only republish the official record, so the original must be corrected with the register that controls it, for example the Centre of Registers. Our copy follows on the next import, daily or as often as the source publishes; the data status page shows when each source was last updated.
  • A documented correction: when an official document shows that the register data are out of date (for example a tax authority certificate, a SODRA notice or an insolvency court decision), the reviewer can record a correction against that document. The profile then marks the value as “corrected on the basis of a document” with its date, so a corrected value is never presented as raw register data.

The score

Corrections and the EBRS score

Scores are never edited by hand. A corrected input changes the EBRS score at the next scheduled recalculation, through the same published formula as for every other company (algorithms and formulas). Earlier scores stay in the append-only score archive.

Personal data

Requests about your own personal data (access, erasure, objection) follow the privacy policy; complaints can also be lodged with the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).
