Terms of use

The rules for using the registry, its services and its content.

Informative translation

This is an English summary of the Lithuanian Naudojimosi sąlygos (version 3.0, effective 15 June 2026), provided for information only. It is not a legal translation and creates no rights or obligations of its own. The Lithuanian text is the binding version and prevails over this summary in every case.

1. General provisions

The terms govern the use of the Lithuanian TOP Companies Registry at topimones.lt (the Platform); section 1 of the Lithuanian text names the company that administers it. By using the Platform, registering an account or viewing its content you confirm that you have read the terms and agree to follow them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Purpose of the Platform and our role

The Platform collects, organises and presents publicly available data on Lithuanian companies from official state registers and institutions (the Centre of Registers, VMI, SODRA, VPB, Regitra, AVNT and others). Those institutions are the original controllers of the data: the Platform does not originate them, it republishes, combines and analyses them in the public interest in business transparency. The Platform is not a credit bureau and does not issue official creditworthiness opinions.

3. Services

  • the company registry, search and public company profiles;
  • the EBRS business reputation score under a public methodology;
  • AI search in natural language;
  • AI visibility (GEO) services;
  • TINKLAS business network and account functions;
  • the “TOP Įmonė” digital badge for activated companies;
  • reputation and risk monitoring in the Lyderis packages.

4. Accuracy of the data

The data are meant to be accurate and are updated regularly from official sources, but their absolute accuracy or completeness is not guaranteed: they depend on the original sources and may be updated with a delay. An inaccuracy can be reported with the error-report function (see the corrections process); corrections of the original facts must be made with the register concerned. The content is for information only and is not legal, financial or investment advice.

5. Account and registration

An account is needed for the TINKLAS functions. Registration data must be true and current. Business accounts are activated after the email address is confirmed and an administrator approves the registration. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for everything done in your account.

7. User obligations

  • not to use the Platform for unlawful purposes or in breach of the law;
  • not to collect data automatically in bulk (scraping) without written consent;
  • not to overload or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or security;
  • not to submit false, misleading or defamatory reviews or data;
  • to respect the rights of third parties.

8. Reviews and user content

Reviews and ratings submitted by users may be checked by an administrator before publication. Content that breaches the terms, the law or the rights of third parties may be refused or removed. The user who submits content is responsible for it, and by submitting it grants the Platform the right to display it for the purpose of the service.

9. The “TOP Įmonė” badge

Only companies with an active registration may use the “TOP Įmonė” digital badge, under the conditions granted. Using the badge after the registration ends is not allowed without a separate agreement. Anyone can check publicly on the Platform whether a badge is valid.

10. Intellectual property

The Platform's software, design, the EBRS methodology, the compiled and processed data sets and the trademarks belong to the administering company or its licensors. Public company data obtained from state registers remain public. Copying, distributing or republishing content created by the Platform for commercial purposes without permission is prohibited.

11. The EBRS score

The EBRS business reputation score is calculated automatically from public data under a publicly described methodology. It is not an official credit rating or a legal decision: it is an informative transparency indicator. Company representatives may submit comments and ask for data to be corrected.

12. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, there is no liability for indirect losses arising from the use of the Platform, its unavailability or inaccurate data. Users judge for themselves whether the information suits their purposes.

13. Term, termination and governing law

An account or access may be suspended or terminated when the terms are breached. The terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes that cannot be settled by negotiation are decided by the courts of the Republic of Lithuania according to the registered office of the administrator.

14. Changes and contacts

The terms may be updated; the current version is always published on the Lithuanian page with its effective date. Questions about the terms go through the contact form or to the email address on the operator page.
